I disagree and I'll use this quote to make my point.

"I would rather get away from that whole idea of clocks. We all want progress. But progress means getting nearer to the place where you want to be. And if you have taken a wrong turning, then to go forward does not get you any nearer. If you are on the wrong road, progress means doing an about-turn and walking back to the right road; and in that case the man who turns back soonest is the most progressive ... [and] going back is the quickest way on." C.S. Lewis

Wetterling Out, Taps Klobuchar

2006 Elections The event everyone saw coming, is official. Wetterling is out and Kennedy has already responded with this nice shot at Klobuchar and Bell.

"I'm surprised at Mrs. Wetterling's withdrawal from the U.S. Senate race. Although all three Democrats are from the liberal wing of their party, Mrs. Wetterling's campaign seemed to be setting the agenda on the DFL side. "Though we disagreed with her, often strongly, we admired the fact that she was willing to take clear cut positions and defend them publicly. "In anointing Ms. Klobuchar, the Democrats have staked themselves to a candidate who has been unwilling to tell voters her position on the key issues facing Minnesotans. "In the weeks and months ahead, it's important that Minnesotans hear specific ideas about how the Senate candidates would address the problems facing our nation and our state, not just poll-tested sound bites."
