I disagree and I'll use this quote to make my point.

"I would rather get away from that whole idea of clocks. We all want progress. But progress means getting nearer to the place where you want to be. And if you have taken a wrong turning, then to go forward does not get you any nearer. If you are on the wrong road, progress means doing an about-turn and walking back to the right road; and in that case the man who turns back soonest is the most progressive ... [and] going back is the quickest way on." C.S. Lewis

I Support Burning Your American Flags...

today and when part of the proper ceremony. (I should have know the Boy Scouts do this.) Yes, today many flags will burn and it is actually a good thing. You see today is Flag Day and I decided to do a little research on "Old Glory". One of the many interesting facts I found was this one.

When a flag is so worn it is no longer fit to serve as a symbol of the United States, it should be destroyed in a dignified manner, preferably by burning. (Note: Most American Legion Posts regularly conduct a dignified flag burning ceremony, often on Flag Day, June 14.)
So if you have a minute, go do a little reading about our great flag because I think most of you may learn something new.
