I disagree and I'll use this quote to make my point.

"I would rather get away from that whole idea of clocks. We all want progress. But progress means getting nearer to the place where you want to be. And if you have taken a wrong turning, then to go forward does not get you any nearer. If you are on the wrong road, progress means doing an about-turn and walking back to the right road; and in that case the man who turns back soonest is the most progressive ... [and] going back is the quickest way on." C.S. Lewis

Spell Checking 101

North Star Politics stumbled on to SD63 the last day or so and then tries to correct my spelling. Tragically, he assumed he knew how to spell without checking the dictionary. You see, when I did this post, I actually was unsure of the spelling of the word "protestor". So I did this crazy little thing called "spell check" and I also checked M-W to make sure. If you look at the Merriam-Webster link, you will see that both spellings are accepted as correct and if you try spell check it also accepts both versions.
